Directions

The U. S. Navy Detachment is located at 8479 Arm Cav Rd, Ft Meade, Maryland 20755.

From BWI:

All students without rental cars are required to hire a taxi from BWI. The USO has a list of different companies. Members can expect to pay $20-$30.

From Baltimore (North):

Take 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) south to the 175 East Odenton exit. Exit eastbound onto Route 175 and continue for 2.3 miles, turn right onto Reece Road. You will then pass through the Ft Meade gate and should be prepared for security checks. You may be required to stop at the Visitor Control Center (located immediately on the left after you enter Fort Meade). Once through the gate, follow Reece to the end. Turn left on Cooper and continue to the traffic light. Turn right onto Mapes Road and continue past DINFOS (left side) to 6th Arm Cav Road. Turn Left, and the Navy Detachment is on the left, Bldg 8479.

From Washington D.C. (South):

Take 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) north past I-495 (Capital Beltway) to the 175 East Odenton exit. Exit eastbound onto Route 175 and continue for 2.3 miles, turn right onto Reece Road. You will then pass through the Ft Meade gate and should be prepared for security checks. You may be required to stop at the Visitor Control Center (located immediately on the left after you enter Fort Meade). Once through the gate, follow Reece to the end. Turn left on Cooper and continue to the traffic light. Turn right onto Mapes Road and continue past DINFOS (left side) to 6th Arm Cav Road. Turn Left, and the Navy Detachment is on the right, Bldg 8479.

**Students are advised to retain all receipts from expenses incurred from commercial ground transportation, as they may be entitled to reimbursement.
