Navy Personnel will report to Center for Service Support, Navy Detachment Fort Meade, Building 8479 6th Armored Calvary Road. The uniform for checking in is Dress Blues/Whites for E6 and Junior and Service Khaki's for E7 -O-3. All C school students are advised not to report earlier than their RNET date; per diem will not be paid prior to that date. Senior Officers (O-4 and Senior) check-in process will be conducted in their classrooms.
All Enlisted Sailors:You are required to notify the detachment at least two weeks prior to the start of your class. Please email the barracks manager, CS2 Ferrell at matthew.ferrell@dinfos.dma.mil. If reporting during normal working hours, report to the Military Training Instructor's (MTI's) office for room assignment, linen issue and instructions for the following day. Students arriving after normal working hours will report to the Command Duty Officer for room assignment and report to the MTI's at 0700 the next working day. All personnel residing in the Navy detachment barracks will receive a student handbook that outlines Navy rules and regulations during their stay onboard.
Officer and Civilian Students: Officers and/or Civilian personnel authorized to reside in Post lodging will check in with the Navy detachment upon arrival. (O4 and Senior are the only exceptions).
Army lodging: The main billeting office is located at 2793 Hawkins Drive. It is located off Mapes Rd behind Burger King. The phone number is 301 677 6529. All personnel residing in billeting are highly encouraged to phone billeting 15 days prior to the start of their course to confirm that they have a reservation. Be advised DINFOS will make the room reservation, students are only phoning to confirm their reservations.
POV's: Advanced course students arriving via POV will need to report to the Visitor Control Center to register their vehicle and receive a temporary vehicle pass. Visitor Control Center is located at the Reece Rd gate. You will be required to provide a valid registration (if registration is not in your name, you will need a notarized letter from owner stating you have permission to drive the vehicle), valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
**Due to current security procedures, the Reece Road/175 gate is the only gate open 24 hrs**
